Wenyin Jiang is an award-winning jeweller based between London and Shanghai.
Her academic journey at Central Saint Martins led to the creation of NIBIRU, a unique wearable art collection that synthesizes her logical background with her newfound artistic expression.
Wenyin’s journey began with her exchange student experience in Bremen, Germany, where she travelled a lot in European countries and was inspired culturally. She graduated from Shanghai University with a first class honours degree in International Economics and Trade, and in the same year, she successfully submitted her application and travelled to London to begin her two-year postgraduate studies at Central Saint Martins at MA Design (Jewellery).
After graduating, Wenyin Jiang remained in London, continuing to develop her artistic practice.
In 2023, she gained international recognition when she won the Public Choice Award at AUTOR Contemporary Jewellery Fair, marking her first major global appearance. That same year, she was shortlisted for the Friedrich Becker Prize 2023 and received two awards at Romanian Jewellery Week. Her success continued at Milano Jewellery Week 2023, where she was honored with the prestigious Artistar Jewels Award, alongside two additional gallery awards—three accolades in total.
Following these achievements, Wenyin collaborated with and exhibited at esteemed galleries and institutions, including the Goldsmiths' Centre, Objects Beautiful Gallery, Mint Gallery, London Glassblowing Gallery, Forge, Galleria Carlo Lucidi, and Frangipani Studio & Galeria.
Her work has also been showcased at major international art, craft and design exhibitions and fairs such as Collect Art Fair in London and Frame at Munich Jewellery Week in Munich.
This autumn, Wenyin will exhibit at the 43rd edition of Goldsmiths’ Fair Week One in UK, as part of its Emerging Business Bursary Scheme, receiving a free standard stand and £1,500 Bursary.
